Synopsis

The "International Conference on Migration and Human Rights" was organized by the IJP- Portucalense Institute for Legal Research, Portucalense University Infante D. Henrique, in accordance with its objectives and aims, and in close collaboration with the Observatory of Human Rights. The conference took place on December 10, the National Human Rights Day, when we celebrated the anniversary of the adoption, in 1948, of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) by the United Nations General Assembly. It was attended by representatives of academia, human rights activists, rapporteurs, and the general population. The present compilation of articles, presented at the conference, was selected due to its relevance, and quality.
