Synopsis

In the book Tax Consultancy the authors comprehensively discuss the field of tax consultancy. The book is based on research of numerous technical literature, foreign literature included, while individual chapters include the results of research about tax consultancy in Slovenia, conducted in 2011. The book contains fourteen chapters, a comprehensive bibliography, and an index of figures and tables. After the introduction, the characteristics of tax consultancy are presented, as well as the professional and personal requirements of tax consultants, followed by an outline in history and expected development in the field of tax consultancy.  The individual chapters deal in tax consultancy regarding legal regulation in the EU, and regulation of tax consultancy in some European countries, and in the USA. Extensively presented are areas of risks and responsibility regarding tax consulting, strategies of tax consultancy, marketing of tax consultancy services, and specifics about buying and selling of tax consultancy firms. The book concludes with an in-depth research into the quality of tax consultancy.
